Energy Consumption Indicator by Smart Circuit Breaker Using IoT Technology
摘要
Electrical fires, arising from short circuits, pose threats of fire, burns, and electrocution. Recognizing these risks and the limitations of conventional protection, this research propels the Smart Circuit Breaker into focus. Merging cutting-edge technologies like Arduino UNO, GSM, Node MCU, and Blynk IoT, it transcends its predecessors. Beyond averting disasters, it proactively communicates real-time insights, empowering users. The SCB integrates an Arduino UNO for power failure detection, a GSM module for text message alerts, and a Node MCU for real-time monitoring of current, voltage, power, and energy consumption. The primary aim of this research work is to address the critical safety concerns associated with circuit overloads and short circuits, which can lead to electrical fires and equipment damage. The Arduino UNO plays a pivotal role in swiftly detecting these anomalies, facilitating the rapid disconnection of power to prevent potential hazards. By incorporating GSM communication, users receive immediate notifications on their mobile devices, allowing them to respond promptly to circuit interruptions, regardless of location. This feature enhances user awareness and facilitates timely issue resolution. The Node MCU component provides crucial real-time monitoring of electrical parameters, offering users insights into their electrical system's performance. This information empowers users to make informed energy usage and system maintenance decisions. This research offers a detailed account of the SCB's hardware components, circuitry, and software Development.
