Nanomaterials for Biosensing Applications
摘要
In modern era, the extent of electronic equipments has widened and the economic impact has been acknowledged substantially due to development and upgradation in science and technology. Biosensing devices have become a subject undergoing intense research in today’s scientific and engineering community, which has made tremendous progress in medical, environmental research, military, food safety and drug delivery. With an evolutionary progressive development in materials and fabrication technology, biosensors have succeeded in achieving higher sensitivity, selectivity, stability, linearity and improved bioreceptor- analyte interactions, along with extensive detection platforms. In the present article, a comprehensive literature analysis on the selection of materials for the fabrication of universally reliable biosensors has been conducted. This survey reflects detailed utilization of various nanomaterials based on sensitivity, detection limit and linear range.
