Enhancing Osteoporosis Diagnosis Through Imaging: A Promising Approach for Early Detection and Monitoring
摘要
Degenerative bone disease osteoporosis of the knee affects people worldwide. Early detection is crucial for the disease to be managed and for further decline to be stopped. The paper describes various methods to find knee osteoporosis. The described techniques entail taking images of the joints from the affected people. The obtained data is then used to quantify osteoporosis-related patterns and extract pertinent features using sophisticated approaches of image analysis. The images have been classified as either osteoporotic or non-osteoporotic utilizing artificial intelligence (AI)-based machine learning (ML) techniques and deep learning (DL) techniques.
