X-Nonlinear Inertia—3 Types of Nonlinearities: Prototyping and Testing

The X-nonlinear inertia is an important advance to the area and will definitely inspire new research topics and associated technology development in the following years. Following the previous chapter, the nonlinear inertia is further understood from new indicators which can evaluate how nonlinear inertia works for a better vibration isolation performance and also from prototyping and extensive testing results. It should be for the first time to validate, with a real prototype, three different types of nonlinear inertia with corresponding different contributions to vibration control.
