X-Nonlinear Inertia: Human Body Inspired Systems with Geared Rotational Disk
摘要
The X-nonlinear inertia has many advantages in vibration control as revealed in the last chapter with very rich nonlinear properties which are clearly beneficial to passive vibration control after an appropriate selection of parametric setting. To further explore the benefits of nonlinear inertia, a rotational disk unit is adopted in this study, which can be well integrated into the X-structure in an even more compact way, and consequently produce a higher nonlinear inertial amplification ratio and bear with large vibration displacement.
