The X-Structure Coupled with Leverages: Low-Frequency Property

The X-structure/mechanism is very versatile for creating various different “new” systems with desired nonlinear function or mechanic properties by integrating other mechanical components and appropriately choosing X-structural parameters. The last chapter demonstrates a band-stop property using integrated leverages, and this chapter is to show that, a different arrangement of these leverage units can immediately lead to a totally new mechanic system of novel nonlinear dynamics.
