Regional Integration and Eurasianism: A Theoretical Interrogation

Regionalism is an international political effort by nations to increase collaboration and support in various governmental operations, including military, political, economic, and social-cultural exchanges. It often results in regional integration among governments within a specific region. A process or a situation, driven by historical experiences, economic circumstances, geographic proximity, cultural similarity, or a common sense of threat from a dominant power, regionalism has been seen from various theoretical perspectives in this chapter.
