Eurasian Regionalism: An Introduction
摘要
Eurasianism, a quasi-political and intellectual movement, emerged in the 1920s as an anti-Bolshevik movement. It emphasized Russia’s unique blend of Slavic and non-Slavic cultures and ethnic groups, and the corporate nature of the Russian state. Eurasianism was a precursor to post-Soviet Russia's ideology, blending Marxism with nationalism. Historians have considered alternative options for the Soviet regime, including Trotsky, Bukharin, Mensheviks, and Peter B. Struve. The past is dependent on the present, with historians examining the past to understand the present political trends.
