摘要

Corn is one of the most important food crops in the world, widely cultivated across the globe, and extensively used in food, feed, and industrial materials. With the growth of the global population and increasing food demand, improving the yield and quality of corn has become a significant challenge in agricultural production. In this context, accurately sensing the growth status of corn is crucial for achieving precision agriculture, enhancing yield and quality, and avoiding soil pollution caused by excessive fertilization. This review first introduces the evaluation indicators of corn growth status, such as leaf area index and nitrogen content index, and then classifies the existing sensing methods into manual measurement and remote sensing measurement. It further discusses data processing methods, including preprocessing, feature extraction, and modeling techniques. Finally, it provides an outlook on future developments, aiming to offer a reference for the intelligent and precise production of agriculture.
