In this chapter, we establish the fundamental theory of flexible setsFlexible set. Firstly, we give the types and definitions of flexible setsFlexible set and analyze and expound the relationships, similarities, and differences between flexible setFlexible set and ordinary (rigid) set, flexible setFlexible set and fuzzy set, and flexible setFlexible set and rough set, respectively; then, we define the operations on flexible setsFlexible set and the relations between flexible setsFlexible set. In addition, the concept of flexible relationsFlexible relation is also presented.
