In this chapter, we introduce a measure called believability-degreeBelievability-degree for the believability of propositions, and on the basis of the theories of traditional probability and flexible event’sFlexible event probability present the computing principles and methods of the believability-degrees of compound propositions on the same space and from distinct spaces, in particular, the computing principles and methods of propositions with a composite linguistic valueComposite linguistic value and implicational propositions, thus establishing the believability-degreeBelievability-degree theory of propositions; Then we discuss the inference on the believability of propositions, and present an uncertain reasoningUncertain reasoning scheme based on believability-degrees—reasoning with believability-degreesReasoning with believability-degrees and the corresponding reasoning model; And then, we discuss the dual reasoning about uncertainty and imprecision for the believability and truth of propositions simultaneously, and present a scheme and model of dual reasoning. Besides, we also discuss the correlation between partial implicationPartial implication, uncertain implicational proposition, relational inference with implication-degreesImplication-degree, and reasoning withReasoning with believability-degrees believability-degrees.
