摘要

Type 2 diabetes, recognized as a progressive lifestyle disorder, presents formidable global challenges that impact both economies and the quality of life (QoL) for individuals. Despite significant strides in therapeutic interventions, complications associated with diabetes continue to escalate, underscoring an urgent need for more effective preventive measures. The management of therapeutic goals in type 2 diabetes remains a considerable challenge, yet emerging evidence points to the transformative potential of integrating advanced technologies into diabetes care. The integration of connected devices such as glucose meters, weighing machines, and blood pressure apparatus, coupled with innovations like continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems and mobile applications, presents a holistic solution. Wearable and mobile applications play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of diabetes management. The widespread adoption of smart glucose and blood pressure monitors, activity trackers, and diet planners signifies a paradigm shift. These technologies not only facilitate continuous and improved management of clinical parameters but also enhance the overall quality of life for individuals with diabetes, ultimately contributing to the prevention of complications associated with the condition.
