Diabetic eye disease is one of the most common causes of preventable blindness worldwide. There has also been a rising trend in the incidence of diabetes among the Indian and Asian populations. The following chapter aims to outline the various manifestations of diabetes in the eye, while also describing the various treatment modalities available for the same.
