AI-Based Framework for Solar Photovoltaic Power Management Optimization Under Dynamic Condition of Irradiation

The characteristics of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels are nonlinear due to the effects of changing environments like solar radiation (SR) and abundant temperature. Therefore, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique is required to achieve the maximum power point (MPP) from the PV array. The MPPT technique provides the maximum power continuously from PV arrays while adjusting to changing environmental factors. In this article, various MPPT techniques are employed for the PV array that produces stable power to the load. Based on simulation data, it has been found that the neural network (NN) approach proves to be additionally effective in generating electricity compared to the conventional perturb and observe (P&O) MPPT technique.
