摘要

The investigation of the closed-loop power system shows that LFC (load frequency control) is the prominent difficulty in controlling the frequency deviation using different types of controllers. Minimizing the frequency deviation and acute load demand surveillance is the primary objective of LFC. In this research, a new PID controller (proportional integral derivative) that employs two novel optimization techniques is proposed: PSO (particle swarm optimization) and GOA (grasshopper optimization). PSO is a stochastic method that is easy to use to find the best seek space’s for finding a resolution. To solve optimization concerns, the GOA algorithm imitates the natural activity of grasshopper swarms. GOA deals with the actual problem in an unexplored search space. The superiority of PSO and GOA has also been compared to other sophisticated optimization methods, and the suggested PID controller based on PSO and GOA optimization offers significant improvements to the frequency deviation problem. This paper introduces a frequency control problem for a single-area system method based on grasshopper optimization and particle swarm optimization (GOA–PSO) techniques.
