摘要

This study presents a hardware implementation of zigzag/delta transformer based DSTATCOM topology in grid-connected system for quality of power. Control scheme uses an adaptive nature algorithm based on Variable Step Size Normalized Least Mean Square (VSS-NLMS) to estimate basic weights of load current. His control technique is intended to extract reference grid current components and create switching pulses for VSC. In this application, the key purpose of the DSTATCOM is to turn grid current to sinusoidal by supplying necessary reactive and harmonic content of the load. The PI controller gains are predicted using an optimization method known as Marine Predators Algorithm (MPA). MPA optimization algorithm progress with low computational cost and has effective design making it a substitute optimization technique for classical methods. This has efficient exploration and exploitation benefits which are based on the Levy strategy with Brownian movement which is verified to be more efficient in literature of optimization. The VSS-NLMS control is evaluated in real-time operation on a prototype laboratory setup utilizing dSPACE1104 R&D controller.
