An Intelligent Blood Cancer Detection Model Using m-Healthcare Prototype

There have been many advancements in medical field. Various machine learning models were developed to make predictions and classification easier. In humans, cell division plays an important role. Sometimes, the abnormal cells start dividing uncontrollably thus destroying all the tissues. This leads to nothing but cancer and is regarded as a very fatal disease. The focus here is mainly on blood cancer (Leukemia). The research work proposed here is prediction of leukemia through machine learning model. The model is then integrated with a mobile application for better user experience with enhanced features like—sending alerts to selected contacts automatically. Using this m-health app will reduce the cost of time and effort required for getting the report done in healthcare centers. It will prove beneficial to people in rural areas where there are less/no sophisticated equipment to get the tests done. The model used in this paper has achieved an accuracy greater than 95%.
