Introduction and State of the Art of Anti/De-icing Technologies
摘要
This chapter first describes the hazards of icing in aircraft, ships, locks, and dams. Then, the icing process and the mechanism of icing are introduced. Three kinds of ice forms on the surface of aircraft are also introduced. After that, this chapter presents the deicing mechanism and research status of active de-icing technology and passive de-icing technology, specifically involving electric deicing, piezoelectric de-icing, superhydrophobic surface anti-icing, and low interface toughness surface anti-icing technology. In addition, this chapter introduces the anti-icing technologies that integrate active and passive anti-icing technologies, specifically involving electrothermal coupled superhydrophobic coating de-icing technology and low solid-ice interface fracture toughness coatings and piezoelectric material coupled de-icing technology. Finally, the energy consumption and engineering applications are analyzed.
