Continuing Part I of this volume is the second of three edited transcripts of the public talks program that took place during The Violence of Denial, an exhibition curated by Worimi researcher, curator, artist and filmmaker, Genevieve Grieves at Arts House for Yirramboi First Nations arts festival, Naarm (Melbourne) in 2017. In this second talk transcript, Genevieve Grieves discusses artworks from the exhibition, PolesApart (2009) and found objects from what lies buried rises (2017), with artists r e a (Gamilaraay/Wailwan/Biripi) and Dianne Jones (Ballardong) and the creative processes and stories of colonial violence that informs them.
