摘要

Two-dimensional (2D) materials such as graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), transition metal carbides, and nitrides have outstanding electronic, optical, thermal, chemical, and mechanical properties. Their employability in textiles has been extensively investigated for the realization of a new class of efficient wearable sensors exploited for health monitoring. In this chapter, a brief overview of different 2D materials will be given at the beginning with a discussion of their merits and properties. Next, different recently demonstrated textile sensors based on 2D materials will be discussed. This is followed by a detailed review of their state-of-the-art designs, methods, and performance evaluation. Later, the progress and recent development of wearable textile sensors toward monitoring human health will be highlighted, wherein different monitoring analytes and diagnosis methods will be emphasized. Finally, a summary with a brief discussion of the prospects of 2D materials-based textile sensors will be presented.
