A Conceptual Framework for the Monitoring of the Vehicle Using Blockchain Technology

In today's scenario, it is essential to keep eye on the vehicles that are moving freely all around without any authenticated documents. Such vehicles may be used for any criminal activities. The Government of India is trying to identify such vehicles by putting their best efforts. Data related to the vehicle is limited in access by different touch points like Road Transport Office (RTO), police stations, and insurance companies. But other touch points like service centers, petrol pumps, toll booths, etc., are also accessible by the vehicle driver. But these touch points are unable to access authenticated information about the vehicle. In this research paper, authors have designed a framework in which the relevant information can be shared among all the touch points by using the concept of blockchain technology and sensor-based IoT devices. Blockchain is a decentralized peer-to-peer network, which is secured and all nodes in this network are the self-administrator, who can maintain the data at their end.
