Multi-Criteria Decision-Making for Hospital Management System Software Selection Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy MOORA

Many software programs come with capabilities that may be customized to match the unique requirements of healthcare companies. An organization may make poor strategic decisions as a result of improper software package selection, which might lead to financial loss. The use of information technology (IT) in health care is growing right now. For users and decision-makers, a thorough assessment of this technology is highly important. The market offers a wide range of options for time and information systems, making it difficult to choose one that meets all of the necessary criteria. Thus, this decision-making process (MCDM) problem may be used in this selection. The branch of operations research known as multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) or multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) explicitly evaluates a large number of conflicting criteria. Therefore, the goal of this research is to present a hybrid technique for hospital management system (HMS) software selection in a multi-criteria, multi-group environment that combines MOORA with intuitionistic fuzzy sets. HMS is used to deliver excellent patient care. The purpose of this study is to pinpoint important dimensions and variables that have a bearing on a hospital’s choice to implement the HMS. And here we are using MOORA for the above with taking some criteria. Our outcome reveals that “MediXcel EMR and HMS” is the best software choice for performing hospital management system operations.
