A four-month-old boy presented with a history of fever and a non-resolving swelling around the right eye. He had received six courses of intravenous antibiotics over a period of 3 months. He remained asymptomatic as long as he was on intravenous antibiotics. His symptoms, however, recurred, with constant fever and swelling with an abscess formation along the floor of the right orbit.
