Ossifying fibroma is a fibro-osseous tumor made of bone tissue that forms within connective tissue. It is a rare benign pathology in which the normal bone is replaced by fibrous tissue, calcified products, or cementum. Ossifying fibromas arise from the mesenchymal cells of the periodontal ligament. Subsequently, there is the formation of cementum, bone, and fibrous tissue [1].
