Optic Nerve Decompression in Posttraumatic Optic Nerve Injury with Oculomotor Nerve Involvement
摘要
A 16-year-old boy presented with a history of head injury due to a road traffic accident-causing drooping of the right upper lid with complete loss of visual acuity in the right eye 20 days ago. He was operated on elsewhere for the repair of a depressed frontal bone fracture and duroplasty. On examination, he had complete ptosis with mild enophthalmos. Right eye movements were restricted in upward and downward gaze.
