Important Parameters in Post-traumatic Optic neuropathy
摘要
Important parameters in post-traumatic optic neuropathy include proper case selection, locating the site of injury, and timing of the surgical intervention. A high-resolution computed tomography (CT) scan should be obtained with specific instructions. This includes cuts for the optic nerve and canal of 2 mm thickness with 1 mm overlap. Axial cuts are to be taken at an angle of −5° to the radiologic plane [1].
