Macro-Level Configuration of Activity Patterns
摘要
This chapter analyzes what the activity patterns are at the macro level of configuration. First of all, it provides an overview of all the activity patterns in the two datasets, from which the salient reporting-oriented, sharing-oriented and recommending-oriented activity patterns in the posts are drawn for detailed comparative analysis. Then, the first-order social semiotic activities in the patterns are figured out. Third, the subject matters of the activity patterns as the second-order field are demystified. Finally, in tandem with a summary of the comparative results for macro-level analysis, this chapter also discusses their communicative functions.
