Nanotechnology, which involves manipulating materials at the nanoscale, and biotechnology, the application of biological systems for technological advancement, synergistically revolutionize healthcare, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions. The nanoscale, characterized by dimensions ranging from 1 to 100 nano-meters, manifests unique properties such as quantum effects, heightened surface area-to-volume ratios, and increased reactivity, presenting novel applications in medicine. The integration of nanoscale precision and biological specificity holds the potential to address intricate health challenges. In diagnostics, drug delivery, and imaging, nanotechnology has achieved notable progress. Engineered nanomaterials interact with biological systems at cellular and molecular levels, showcased in targeted drug delivery systems like liposomal formulations that minimize systemic side effects. Nanotechnology contributes to advanced imaging technologies, improving resolution and enabling real-time tracking of cellular processes.
