Theory of Entrepreneurship

It is generally accepted that views on entrepreneurship have been around in Europe during renaissance in the fifteenth century. However, it should not be forgotten that topics of entrepreneurship have been present in Sumerian, Egyptian, Chinese, and Indian cultures and in their religious teachings. Concepts of entrepreneurship have gradually developed during the past several centuries. Entrepreneurship concepts initially grew under the purview of economics during the past few centuries. Yet, the first Industrial Revolution in the seventeenth century and renaissance of management through the nineteenth century significantly enriched the theory of entrepreneurship.
