摘要

In this chapter, the high-temperature mechanical properties of chemical vapor infiltration (CVI) processed SiC/SiC composites with different fiber preforms, i.e., three-dimensional four-directional (3D4D) braided, two-dimensional plain-woven (2DPW) and stain woven (2DSW) lamination, are investigated at elevated temperature of 1400 °C. The high-temperature mechanical properties of SiC/SiC composites, e.g., tensile strength, compressional strength, interlaminar shear strength, in-plane shear strength, flexural strength, cyclic fatigue lifetime, and creep life are obtained from experimental data. The high-temperature mechanical properties can support the engineers to better design CMCs hot-section components.
