On Being a Minister

This essay discusses the way to be a loyal and faithful minister of the government. First of all, a classification of ministers is made on several levels. According to the contributions made, there can be fawning, presumptuous, meritorious and sagely ministers. According to what have been done for the monarch, there can be obedient, flattering, loyal, and assuming ministers. According to the manner in which their devotion is expressed and the effect thereof, there can be remonstrant, admonitory, assistant, or rectifying ministers.
