Watermark Intensity Effect on Robustness and Imperceptibility of Medical Images
摘要
The present study investigates the imperceptibility and robustness of five watermarks that were implemented on medical images using the DWT-HD-SVD algorithm. By employing the evaluation metrics normalized correlation (NC) and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), the algorithm’s resistance to various attacks is determined. The outcomes demonstrate the robustness of the DWT-HD-SVD algorithm by consistently achieving a value of 1 in the face of the majority of applied attacks. Additionally, the research demonstrates a clear association between the PSNR and the watermark intensity: a reduction in watermark intensity is accompanied by an augmentation in PSNR. The DWT-HD-SVD algorithm maintains the imperceptibility of watermarked medical images and demonstrates high resistance to common attacks, according to these results.
