摘要

To facilitate the development of smart cities, this research offers a thorough IoT-enabled framework that emphasizes strengthening urban ecosystems via increased sustainability, efficiency, and security. It goes into detail on how IoT technologies are incorporated into urban infrastructures to improve environmental monitoring, livability, and governance. The study offers a comprehensive framework that incorporates IoT infrastructure, intelligent services, governance structures, and sustainable development methods in order to address contemporary issues including data security, privacy protection, and inter-departmental collaboration. This strategy places a strong emphasis on the crucial roles that regulatory frameworks, policy guidelines, and the adoption of standardization measures play in ensuring that smart city initiatives are implemented successfully while protecting the rights of inhabitants. Through an examination of IoT applications in a range of smart city domains, including smart grids and intelligent transportation systems, this research highlights the revolutionary potential of IoT technology in shaping the urban landscape of the future. In addition, it highlights possible hazards and suggests ways to mitigate them, with the goal of assisting legislators and urban planners in developing more thoughtful, effective, and human-centered urban settings.
