The detailed micro and macro analysis of various aspects and components of the process of urban development and population growth in historical perspective in the previous chapters revealed considerable changes in the spatial and temporal dimensions of growing urbanismUrbanism. However, the incidents of extremely severe devastations across the Himalayan regions, most specifically in the western Himalaya have emerged are quite disturbing.
