Changing Ecology and Preserving Urban Heritage

TheUrban heritage rise in the number of city dwellers, skyward growth of concrete buildings, and horizontal sprawl of the urban and overall development and growth have subsequently engulfed agriculture and forest lands. Though this is a known fact to both the people and the state, yet both have remained unfazed. Rather both have been playing an active role, often in partnership, in the ‘illegal felling of trees in the name of development.
