The general method of estimating the population total or mean for the various sampling strategies under randomized response techniques is proposed under a unified setup. The performance of the proposed strategies is thoroughly compared. Methods of estimating the nonnegative mean squares or variances of the estimators of the means or totals are proposed. In addition, some of the important RR techniques, such as Dalenius and Vitale (1974), Liu et al. (1975), Gjestavang and Singh’s (2006) RR model, and Quatember’s (2009) RR model, have been discussed in detail.

摘要

The general method of estimating the population total or mean for the various sampling strategies under randomized response techniques is proposed under a unified setup. The performance of the proposed strategies is thoroughly compared. Methods of estimating the nonnegative mean squares or variances of the estimators of the means or totals are proposed. In addition, some of the important RR techniques, such as Dalenius and Vitale (1974), Liu et al. (1975), Gjestavang and Singh’s (2006) RR model, and Quatember’s (2009) RR model, have been discussed in detail.
