Measures of Privacy Protection
摘要
Randomized response (RR) techniques are designed to collect reliable data relating to sensitive and stigmatizing subjects indirectly to reduce nonresponse and obtain randomized responses from the respondents. Several methods of measuring privacy protection ( \(\mathcal{PP}\) ) for the RR techniques and comparisons of their efficiencies are proposed. Most methods of \(\mathcal{PP}\) are limited to the simple random sampling with replacement (SRSWR) method only. In this chapter, various forms of \(\mathcal{PP}\) and their efficiencies are reviewed. In addition, a new way of measuring \(\mathcal{PP}\) for complex survey designs has been proposed.
