Artificial intelligence (AI), which has many different usage areas, is an important technology of the twenty-first century. Currently, AI is an evolving technology and aims to gain even more importance in future technologies of all sectors. When applied to civil engineering, artificial intelligence has enormous potential for innovation in all civil engineering fields. Thanks to the powerful capabilities of artificial intelligence algorithms in data analysis, a large number of civil engineering problems can be predicted and evaluated. This chapter presents the recent application areas of AI in civil engineering, which has gained more importance with the developing technology today, with current studies.
