A New Hybrid MPPT Controller for the Solar PV System
摘要
In this work, a controller for the accurate tracking of maximum global maximum power point (GMPP) and local maximum power point (LMPP) of a solar PV system has been developed using the hybrid approach. In the proposed work, the P&O method is integrated with the GWO algorithm to get accurate GMPP under varying environmental conditions. The efficacy and exactness of the developed hybrid controller are tested by changing the parameters of atmospheric situations, such as temperature and solar insolation. Also, partial shading condition (PSC) is investigated to test the effectiveness of the proposed controller. Further, the outcomes of the proposed controller are compared with the results of the P&O technique. Through the comparative analysis, it is revealed that the proposed hybrid controller gives better result than the existing P&O controller. The tracking efficiency of the hybrid controller is found as 95.35%, whereas it is 80.23% for P&O with PSC. For the validation of the proposed method, solar PV module KC200GT has been considered in this study.
