摘要

Nanocellulose is a bio-based material breakthrough. Since cellulose is the most prevalent natural polymer, researchers may use it as an endless source of raw materials to create synthetic goods that are both environmentally friendly and biocompatible. Cellulose and its derivatives are used in textiles, plastics, wood, paper goods, coatings, and medications because they are cheap and abundant. It is insoluble in normal aqueous solvents due to its substantial intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonding. Cellulose fibrils have amorphous and crystalline regions. Another possible use for nanocellulose is in the field of burn healing. The substance can be combined with another product for medical purposes, used to prepare artificial bones, or used to repair bones since it has been demonstrated to be nonallergic. Further, high-performance composite packing materials, like plastic, are lighter and more durable than steel. The automotive and aerospace industries, where reducing weight is crucial, may find use for this composite material.
