The Omega Method

In this last chapter, a correlation is developed between non-dimensionalized critical flow and another non-dimensional quantity known as Omega (θ) where the correlations is for two ranges of θ. Simple models for each range of flow are provided and a relationship between θ and non-dimensional critical pressure is established. The chapter goes on to provide more generalized correlations for nozzle and pipe flow and ends by discussing how the Omega method can be applied to multi-component and non-ideal gas flows.
