Flexi C-Band Antenna with Semi-circular Pattern for Satellite Communication and Its Analytical Framework

The C-band antenna for satellite communication is suggested in this paper. A semi-circular patch and a FR4 substrate make up the antenna. The design of a semi-circular microstrip patch antenna (MPA) is designed in this work. The suggested antenna’s return loss, radiation pattern, and gain all show that it is well suited for 3.7 GHz satellite communication. The C-spectrum moreover includes the 2.42–2.483 GHz industrial scientific medical spectrum, which is extensively utilized by minimal power unconstrained microwave components such cordless telephones and Bluetooth receivers. The MPA is modeled using the High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), and its performance is evaluated.
