Personality Assessment Inventory Testing in Family Court Evaluations
摘要
An allegation can be raised in a family-oriented court that a parent has a mental illness that interferes with their capacity to provide safe parenting for their child. This chapter discusses the use of psychometric tests to assess mental disorders in adults. The chapter promotes use of one instrument (Personality Assessment Inventory) to assess mental disorders in parents when a report is required for court purposes, especially for Family Court reports.
