Need for Therapy for Vulnerable Families
摘要
There is general acceptance that children in some families are vulnerable to developing a mental health condition because of circumstances in the family they are raised in. There is recognition that a mental health disorder that develops during childhood can last a lifetime. This chapter outlines the fundamental argument of why it is in the best interests of children and of society to provide a reasonable level of therapy for children who are raised in vulnerable families and in out-of-home care.
