SERS for Precision Medicine: A Promising Approach
摘要
In the field of precision medicine, the integration of Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) technology is a crucial breakthrough, particularly in the early diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases. This chapter explores the combination of SERS with nanotechnology, emphasizing its role in enhancing diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy. We focus on the design and optimization of nanomaterials and SERS substrates to improve detection sensitivity and specificity. Delving into the principles of SERS in biomedicine, challenges in standardization and reproducibility are discussed, along with the synthesis and stability of nanostructures essential for effective application. The use of SERS in various biomedical analysis applications, including biomarker detection, pathogen identification, and advanced imaging techniques, is highlighted. The chapter underscores the enrichment of fields like phototherapy and targeted drug delivery guided by SERS, showcasing its transformative impact on disease diagnosis and treatment in precision medicine.
