摘要

The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly expanding as we move forward toward the future, with smart devices effortlessly incorporated into our daily lives. While IoT is convenient, it also poses substantial security risks. This paper focuses on IoT network vulnerabilities and security issues. The study particularly assesses the Speck block cipher’s secrecy claim and addresses the probabilistic full disclosure attack targeting Speck in IoT networks. The paper attempts to improve the security and robustness of IoT systems by analyzing the confidentiality of the Speck block cipher. The findings emphasize the significance of proactive security solutions for resource-constrained IoT devices, which contribute to a more secure IoT environment. By analyzing the confidentiality aspects of the Speck block cipher, this study strives to enhance the security and robustness of IoT systems. Through extensive research and experimentation, this paper uncovers the vulnerabilities associated with the Speck block cipher and its susceptibility to probabilistic full disclosure attacks in IoT networks. The findings highlight the need for stronger encryption algorithms and emphasize the urgency of implementing enhanced security measures within IoT infrastructures. This paper emphasizes the criticality of prioritizing security in IoT networks. By evaluating the Speck block cipher’s confidentiality claims and exploring potential vulnerabilities, it offers insights into enhancing the security and resilience of IoT systems. Proactive security measures and robust encryption algorithms are essential for protecting resource-constrained IoT devices and establishing a safer and more reliable IoT ecosystem. With these advancements, we can leverage the potential of IoT while safeguarding user privacy and mitigating cyber risks effectively.
