Blockchain-Based Robotics Applications in Industry and Healthcare Data Management

摘要

Robotics is an interdisciplinry field that encompasses the design, development, and operations of smart machines known as robots. Robots interact with the physical world, make decisions, and simplify human tasks. The field of research aims to develop machines that automate repetitive and complex tasks with the augmentation of human capabilities. Robotics has a wide range of applications in the following fields such as education and research, health care, manufacturing industries, space exploration, and logistics and warehousing. While observing the progress in robotics, it becomes evident that these advancements also introduce a range of challenges that need to be tackled. Sensing, sensitive decision-making, access control, auto-repairs, security and privacy, social ethics, and many more are challenges to consider. Blockchain provides a path to overcome some of the issues in robotics based on characteristics such as decentralization, security, immutability, and secured access control. Exploring the blockchain capabilities and other possible technologies to integrate brings ways to exploit the benefits of blockchain in robotics. The proposed research aims to present the existing implementation tools for the blockchain, and in addition a blockchain-integrated Healthcare Data Management System is proposed for smart healthcare data management.
