Securing Data in the Cloud: An In-Depth Analysis of Security Challenges and Frameworks

Cloud computing has many characteristics and challenges. Security is a major concern in cloud computing environments to secure data during storage and transmission. Security issues vary according to the structure of the cloud, services provided, network availability, data availability, locality, segregation, etc. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of various security issues and security frameworks. A detailed classification of security issues and a comprehensive description of security frameworks are presented here. These frameworks utilize major security techniques to create a more secure, flexible, and reliable framework that addresses the major concerns of security issues, such as data availability, authentication, data confidentiality, authorization, and data integrity.
