The significance and popularity of remote heart rate monitoring have surged in recent years, offering a breakthrough in healthcare. This innovative approach enables medical professionals to closely monitor patients’ well-being, improve healthcare accessibility, and identify potential health concerns without requiring in-person visits. Especially advantageous for those unable to travel, living in remote regions, or dealing with infectious illnesses, remote monitoring of heart rate offers an impactful solution to address gaps in healthcare access. This study introduces an innovative, non-intrusive technique aimed at precisely gauging heartbeats through analyzing subtle changes in facial skin tone associated with blood flow. Harnessing digital video processing and signal analysis, this method extracts crucial physiological data, transforming the assessment of heart rate without the need for physical touch. Prioritizing accuracy and straightforward application, the proposed approach strives to enhance remote heart rate monitoring, thereby facilitating inclusive healthcare services for various populations.
