摘要

In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, equipping students with 21st-century skills (21CS) is more crucial than ever. Drawing upon the 21CS taxonomy proposed by the National Research Council and other contemporary classifications, this chapter examines how students can effectively acquire these essential skills. Emphasizing competency-based learning approaches that focus on measurable outcomes, it explores the impact on students’ cognitive, intra-personal, and inter-personal 21CS. By providing a comprehensive definition of 21CS and showcasing their application within health management curricula, the chapter highlights their growing importance in academia and the job market.
